PRC General Partner - Managing Partner
Spencer is a fourth generation Venturan who, with his brother Scott, began developing the PRC in 1975. A graduate of Pomona College (B.A. Mathematics) and Northwestern University (MBA), Spencer taught high school and then served as a US Naval Officer prior to starting the PRC. He has been actively involved with the Boys & Girls Club of Ventura, United Way of Ventura County, The Ventura Music Festival, Interface Children Family Services and the Museum of Ventura County. He is also a former board member of IHRSA, The International Health Racquet & Sportsclub Association. Married to Nancy with two children, Cameryn and Cory, his hobbies include golf, basketball, tennis and traveling.

Scott is a fourth generation Venturan who, with his brother Spencer, began developing the PRC in 1975. Scott served six years in the Navy with training in nuclear power and electrical engineering. His service included a year in Antarctica. Scott attended the University of Utah. In 1983, Scott moved to Albuquerque where he oversaw the development and later sale of PRC's 5 sister clubs. He has been actively involved with the issue of unfair competition both on a local and national level. Married to Pam with three boys, Christopher, Sean and Evan, his hobbies include squash and mountain biking.
Kerrie is a native Californian. She graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a B.A. in Physical Education/Exercise Physiology. She is Certified in Community Fitness with a minor emphasis in Business Administration. Kerrie is a faculty member at the Santa Barbara Business College where she enjoys teaching Business Ethics and Emergency Procedures. She is also a Red Cross and American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Instructor. She has been in the fitness industry since 1976 and has been a part of the PRC since 1986. She is married and has two children Zack and Kacy that have grown up here at the PRC. Her hobbies and special interests are running, water sports, and working with the youth group at her church.
Kati Escallier was born in Budapest, Hungary and emigrated to America as a small child with her family. As an art major in college, Kati redirected her artisitc endeavors to apparel design and attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. Kati had a successful design and manufacturing business in women's swimwear and sportswear that was featured in the Sports Illustrated annual swimwear issue. Kati started working at the Pierpont Racquet Club as the Pro Shop Manager and logo merchandise designer, and has enjoyed working at the PRC for over 20 years in a number of roles; Assistant Manager, and currently PRC Membership and Marketing Director. An avid tennis enthusiast, Kati has played on Interclub and USTA League teams at the Club, and in her spare time enjoys graphic design, singing, reading and volunteering in church ministry.
Laurie Lowder was born and raised in Ventura and has lived here most of her life. She graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Business Management with a concentration in Financial Management. Laurie has worked in the hospitality industry at the Pierpont Inn for 12 years prior to moving to the PRC in 2005. She has a husband, Trevor, and two young sons, Quincy and Hendrix, and loves to spend time with all her family, which includes six nieces and nephews. Laurie enjoys Pilates, rollerblading, and going to Dodger games.
Special Projects Advisor
Nancy was born in Berkley, California and moved to Ventura at age 5. She graduated from UC San Diego (B.A. Sociology) and has a California Teaching Credential from USIU. Nancy began working for the PRC in 1978 and has served as Swim Director, Service Desk Manager and Assistant Manager.
Pro Shop Manager
Pam Jenks was born and raised on the family farm in Camarillo. Her great grandfather was one of the original Oxnard Plains farmers. Pam's passion growing up was showing her quarter horses at horse shows throughout the State of California. Pam also worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years and has been married to her husband John since 1980. They have two daughters, Whitney and Connelly. Pam took a hiatus to raise her two daughters and during that time was actively involved with parent/teacher organizations. Since both daughters played three sports at Villanova Prep School in Ojai, she was always busy as a team mom. She is an avid tennis player who decided to return to work after the girls went away to college and is enjoying her job as Pro Shop Manager at the PRC!
Trish is thrilled to dive in as the new Aquatics Director at PRC. Better known in her home state of Texas as "Trish The Fish" she has taught hundreds of kids and adults to love the water. "Although I originally hale from Texas, joining the PRC team feels like a homecoming of sorts as my husband grew up as a Pierpont Racquet club kid during the 80's. When I am not in the pool you will most likely find me ocean swimming or enjoying the outdoors with my husband, Gideon and my two sons, Levi and Z. I am so excited to join the PRC family and make the aquatic program the best it can be."
Jon Osumi lives in East Ventura with his wife and two children. Jon has many years of experience in personal fitness training and has been the Fitness Director at the PRC for over 5 years. Jon says, when working with his clients, "I take personal pride in assessing each of my clients on where they are on the spectrum of abilities. The quality of posture, strength, balance, coordination, and stability are a direct refection of the functionality of the core. With this in mind I take into account each client's unique needs, goals and abilities and design a program that will train, challenge and advance these attributes. Each program I design will be as unique as the individual". As PRC Fitness Director Jon also creates programming for the membership as a whole, that encourages and promotes daily exercise and an overall healthier lifestyle! In his spare time Jon also volunteers as coach for his girls soccer and softball teams. Jon is a Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Swiss Ball Training for functional strength & stability, USPTA & USTA member, and a Massage Therapist (MFR, Swedish, Sports, Reiki & Hot Rock Therapy).
Tennis Director & Maintenance Supervisor
Brad has lived in Ventura all his life and started playing tennis in 1975. In 1977 his family joined the Pierpont Racquet Club. Brad attended Westmont College and received his BA in Business Economics. He has been teaching tennis at the PRC since 1993 and has been the PRC Tennis Director since 2009. Brad's early tennis career includes being on First Team in the Channel Tennis League in 1979, 1980, and 1982, Western State Champion, and Golden State Athletic Conference First Team 1983 and 1984. Brad is currently a PTR certified Tennis Pro as "Professional Level 1". Tennis is a family affair for the McClain's with both of Brad's children playing competitively and enjoying the lifetime sport of tennis!
Kids Club & Junior Activities Director
Oriana has been a resident of Ventura California for over 35 years. She worked for Paul Orfalea at the Kinko's corporate offices from 1998 until the company relocated to Texas in 2002. In 2004 she began working with children as a teachers assistant at various elementary and preschools throughout the Ventura Unified School District. She has 12 years experience in the Health Spa and Salon Industry and has been with the PRC Kid's Club since 2011. In her spare time she works as a volunteer for the Humane Society of Ojai. She enjoys writing, hiking, gardening, spending time with family and raising her two daughters.
